With a sweeping western panorama of downtown San Miguel this over-scaled guest room could easily have named the Sunset suite. But as guests continually remarked that they felt as if they were guests in an ancient castle when they stayed in this grand room, we couldn’t resist naming it the Princess.

 It features 650 square feet of living space with 14 foot beamed ceilings, a working fireplace, and a roomy King-sized bed. The bathroom features a tub and shower, and has a separate dressing room. In addition to the two banks of French doors that open to the courtyard, the Princess has a private sun deck that overlooks the swimming pool and garden with the mountains---and sunsets---in the distance as a back drop.
